King Ｂ.Ｂ.キング　譜面／資料 英名検索 和名検索 amazon.com ブルースギター Blues Guitar Ｂ.Ｂ.キング(B.B.King) 1925年ミシシッピー州インディアノーラ生まれ。厳密にいうとメンフィス生まれではないわけです。おそらく最も有名なブルースギタリスト。80歳になる現在もライブ活動を続けている。「ライブこそ人生」という生き方に頭が下がります。Ｂ.Ｂ.の由来が、メンフィスのビールストリートにあって、Beale Street Boyだということはよく知られている。地元のラジオ局WDIAでDJをしながら音楽活動をし、1951,年の「Three O'Clock Blues」が初の全米ヒット。1969年には弦をフィーチャーした「The Thrill Is Gone」でブルースの新境地を開いた。初期の代表アルバムはやはり「Live at the Regal」（1964）だろう。音楽キャリアが長いため多作だし、後年のライブはほぼ同じ曲目だが、それでも聞くだけのことはある。 B.B.
